Japanese electronics giant Sony’s new phablet ‘Xperia T2 Ultra’ has hit the Indian market. It is available for INR 32,000 from an e-commerce site from February 27 onwards. According to Sony’s website Sony Xperia T2 Ultra is a 6-inch HD smartphone that runs on Google’s Android 4.3 Jellybean version. The screen resolution is 720 X 1280 pixels. The T2 Ultra that gets its power from 1.4 GHz Quadcore snapdragon processor, has 1 GB RAM. The smartphone that arrives with 8 GB inbuilt storage has a 32 GB microSD card to expand memory.

Besides the Sony Xperia T2 Ultra, Sony had last month released the dual SIM model Sony Xperia T2 Ultra Dual. However the dual SIM model is not available for sale in the e-commerce site Saholic. The T2 Ultra is a LTE/4G phone with 13 megapixel main camera and 1.1 megapixel front camera. The main camera has many features like ‘portrait retouch’. The phone gets life from a 3000 mAh battery which if kept on ‘stamina mode’ will get 1056 hours of standby time, according to the e-commerce site. The company claims up to 14 hours of talk time in 2G. The battery allows 93 hours of music and 10 hours of video. The phone is available in black and purple.
